HEALTH Recommends Beach Openings

HEALTH officials recommended re-opening EPISCOPAL CONFERENCE CENTER BEACH in BURRILLVILLE for swimming. This recommendation is based on results from water samples that show bacteria levels within acceptable limits. HEALTH will continue to monitor the water quality regularly to assure safe bathing throughout the summer season.

The following beaches are still closed:
THIRD BEACH in MIDDLETOWN

Currently, 117 of Rhode Island's 118 beaches are open for swimming.
